Present a Webinar: How to Present Using VOIP
Updated over a week ago

Webinars are a fantastic way to share your expertise and connect with a remote audience. But what if the idea of being on camera fills you with dread? Don't worry, you can still deliver a powerful and engaging presentation using Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) – all without needing a webcam!

Why Choose VoIP for Webinars?

There are many reasons to choose a voice-only webinar with VoIP:

  • Camera Shy? No Problem: Feeling nervous on camera is totally normal. VoIP lets you focus on delivering your content with confidence, without the pressure of being visually present.

  • Focus on the Audio: Sometimes, complex presentations or demonstrations are better delivered through clear audio explanations. VoIP ensures your voice and any audio elements are crystal clear for attendees.

  • Presentation on the Go: VoIP offers flexibility! Present from anywhere with a strong internet connection, eliminating the need for a dedicated studio setup.

  • Accessibility for All: A voice-only format can be more accessible for attendees with slower internet connections or who might experience video streaming limitations.

How to Present Using VoIP

Ready to take the plunge? Let's get started!

  1. Login to the Presenter Console by entering your First Name, Last Name, and Email Address in the provided boxes, then click Login.

  2. Upon entering, a prompt at the top-right corner of the page will ask you a selection of how you want to connect. Select Computer.

  3. Another selection will appear. Select Audio Only.

  4. Once successfully connected, you can now unmute your microphone by clicking the Unmute Audio button and start the presentation.

To check your mic and see if audio is being captured, you will see a blue wave bar moving every time you speak.

NOTE: Presenters will be automatically muted initially after fully connecting to the Presenter Console.
