Recommendation: 

  • To achieve the maximum bandwidth speed, use a wired/LAN internet connection.

  • Disconnect VPN connection - it can reduce bandwidth speed and increase latency.

If the audience page doesn't display a media player, click on the media player icon located on the left side of the screen. In case there is still no video or a static image is showing, it's likely that the webinar consists of slides and audio only.

Troubleshooting Steps:

  • Log out and log back in: Exit your browser and re-enter using the webinar link.

  • Clear browser history and cookies: Follow this link for step-by-step instructions.

  • Use another browser: Open the webinar link in browsers like Google Chrome, Firefox, or Safari for the best experience, and make sure your browser is fully updated.

  • Check internet connection: Ensure a stable connection; wired is recommended, but Wi-Fi is acceptable if the signal is strong. Avoid simultaneous heavy usage on shared networks.

  • Close other browser tabs: Sometimes, if there are videos playing in other tabs, it can affect the video player for the event.

  • Update Graphics Drivers: Ensure that your graphics drivers are up to date. Outdated drivers can sometimes lead to video playback issues.

  • Check for System Updates: Ensure your operating system is up to date. Updates can include improvements to media playback functionality.

  • Check for JavaScript Errors: Inspect the browser's console for any JavaScript errors. Video players often rely on JavaScript, and errors in the console can provide clues about the issue.

  • Try other devices: For optimal viewing, attend on a computer. Mobile users, especially those with outdated OS, may face issues. While webinar.net is mobile-friendly, computer access is preferred.

  • Ask in the Q&A box of the event/webinar for support: Inquire whether there is a recurring problem with video playback.
